Archdiocesan Pilgrimage to the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, DC. Saint Stephen's Church will join the other parishes in the Archdiocese of Newark for the triennial pilgrimage to “America’s Cathedral”.
Highlights of the one-day pilgrimage will include: an opportunity to tour the Basilica (selfguided); confessions in multiple languages, a welcome by the Basilica Staff; the procession of parish banners, a multi-lingual recitation of the Holy Rosary and an organ concert.
The principal part of our pilgrimage will be a Mass in the Great Upper Church offered by Cardinal Tobin, the archbishop of Newark, and concelebrated by the auxiliary bishops of Newark and priests in attendance.
There is currently a waiting list for additional pilgrims. If you want to be added to the waiting list, contact the Parish Office, 201-998-3314.
O Mary, Conceived Without Sin,
Pray for Us Who Have Recourse to Thee!
