Many people go on retreats to remove themselves from all the demands of our active lives. these retreats are away from home and often a weekend or more. But we can schedule spiritual retreats in our own homes for short periods of time. These breaks can bring us back stronger, refreshed and reconnected to our priorities.
On this page are a few suggestions on how to make time for your own personal retreats to be with the Lord; to strengthen your relationship with God; and reflect on ways to Follow Jesus; and explore your Catholic Faith.
No need to travel or spend money. Find a place in your home or in nature, put your phone on "do-no-disturb" and retreat. Try out some of these to find what suits you. We will review and update this page throughout the summer. You can devote a little time each day, once a week, a block of time over the weekend, or during a day or evening off from work.
Some of our suggestions are on www.FORMED.org. Saint Stephen's parish sponsors a subscription.
